The Achievement and NPC Friendship System!

     Just after about 3 days, I got my warrior to level 23. I encountered a problem though. With leveling up so fast I missed the achievement system.

     70/227?! Most people would probably just ignore the achievement system if ever they missed the chance in gaining some or MOST of the achievements. I just can't seem to do that though. Seeing just how much I missed annoys me - seriously. So I made a new character just so I could have all the achievements. I need to have three characters to level 16 anyway for the devil wings event. By the way, I tried acquiring the achievements way below for my first character's level, and I was surprised to know I could still get them.

     The gauge doesn't state a 100% completion at the moment 'coz I still have to do some of the other achievements that needs a party.

     The reason why I wanted to complete all the achievements' not only because of the title. But for its very purpose. Because they are achievements. I have to mention that there are also hidden achievements that can be gained. Such achievements can only be acquired when you die trying to battle certain monsters or when you get to find specific items.

Aside from the achievement system, there's also the NPC Friendship system.

     I find the NPC friendship system quite interesting... and challenging. When you reach a certain percentage of fondess with an NPC, that NPC may give you benefits which you might find very useful. As well as if you happen to reach 100% aversion, both the affection and aversion bar resets to zero.

     Just as long as you keep on venturing into dungeons, especially at abyss level, the friendship system will be a cinch... well, hopefully.

1st day ~ Dragon Nest

     I just started playing Dragon Nest yesterday and it had me saying "WOAH!" - tons of times! Decided I should play as a warrior this time 'coz archers get to be girls. Tragic, I know. Dragon Nest may have me quitting Flyff though. It's sad to think that for over 5 years I'm finally gonna stop playing Fly For Fun.

     This may sound absurd but Flyff is a game dear to me.
     Moving on, right now I'm just getting to know more about Lagendia. Lagendia by the way is what the world of Dragon Nest is called. The game offers tons of unique features! Hopefully, I'll fully get to know and understand all of them in a short span of time. So by then, all I have to worry about is leveling up.

     I'm sorry if this entry doesn't turn out as long as it should be. I guess this is just the "Hey, I'm playing this game" post. I will be telling more stuffs about Dragon Nest soon. If you happen to see me in-game, give me a "hi" k? :) 'til the next update :D

     Something went amiss though. A few weeks before the plan was to be said to the public, a lot noticed the vampires weren’t showing up during the night anymore. This had everyone worried. It wasn’t something to be happy about. Everyone trained hard just to get rid of the vampires. It would really be disappointing if they would just suddenly vanish. Though the trouble of having the vampires around may suddenly be over, years of training just to get rid of them would be in vain. People won’t also be able to avenge deaths of their loved ones if the vampires just happen to vanish. From disappoint, everyone again felt fear upon arriving to a certain hypothesis. Everyone got evidently stronger. That’s for sure. What if the vampires knew they were no longer dominant in power? What if the vampires knew they were going to be eliminated? And what if the vampires can do something about it? What if the reason behind their disappearance is a plan to overpower the humans knowing they are no longer unbeatable? They can’t just disappear without a good reason. That’s what the people thought. So, still the people continued to train. They trained even harder.

     For months the people kept on training for they knew their lives would depend on their strength. The people were determined not to let the vampires wreak havoc ever again. But the vampires never returned. Still, the people waited. Everyone still trained hard. But as years passed by, it seemed like some forgot about their reason on getting stronger and started seeking even greater power. Virtues were forgotten. Soon, humans created new monsters… themselves.

     There were also those that were greatly affected by the loss they had due to the reign of the vampires. Many deaths weren’t avenged. Many wished they had helped on eliminating all the vampires. But that didn’t happen. Anguish turned to hatred and their hatred brought about destruction. Madrigal was never the same after the vampires brought terror.

Server Merge and Mocomochi!

     A lot has changed during gPotato's v17 launch for Flyff. Servers are paired and merged into one. I don't think of it as a bad thing... But of course, some considered it as a very big deal. It's quite understandable. Some had trouble having the same IGN's, some didn't like the names of the new servers... some just didn't like the server merge. I thought of it as a good thing though for populations of each server isn't like how it was before. Let's face it, a lot of players have stopped playing Flyff and servers being merged will help greatly in regaining the game's liveliness or let it be even livelier.

Currently, these are now the new servers:

•Mocomochi
•Tanuki [Lawolf + Aibatt]
•Lykan [Mushpoie + Mia + Clockworks]
•Kargo [Glaphan + Kern]
•Yetti [Demian]

     I tried visiting the new server, Mocomochi and it reminded me of how Flyff was 5 years ago. There were people wherever you go... LITERALLY!

The whole place is jam-packed with players!
    There are players grinding everywhere! It's sad I haven't got to take screenshots of the places I tried visiting though. I got too excited. By new server, I really mean "new server". You start at level 1 and begin a whole new adventure. I wish each of the server's population was more or less like of the Mocomochi server. Flyff then would be like how it was before only so much better.

Tokay Gecko

     Just a few months ago, a friend of mine started raising a Tokay Gecko. It looks really fascinating. Scary but also cute at the same time. When you speak of Geckos, their prices being a topic is almost always a part of it. I've heard of Tokay Geckos being really expensive with prices going up as high as 6 digits. At first I thought it wasn't true. But then again my friend told me that the rumor I heard was correct. I tried to know the reason why they have such extreme price tags and what I found out is that certain parts of Geckos have healing properties that could even cure AIDS and HIV. There were those that said it wasn't true though. Some say they're used for shipping illegal drugs that's why they have such high prices. Geckos are stuffed or filled with drugs inside of them then shipped.

     With that aside, Imma save you the trouble of going to Wikipedia for Tokay Geckos.

     The Tokay Gecko (Gekko gecko) is a nocturnal arboreal gecko, ranging from northeast India and Bangladesh, throughout Southeast Asia, Philippines to Indonesia and western New Guinea. Its native habitat is rainforest trees and cliffs, and it also frequently adapts to rural human habitations, roaming walls and ceilings at night in search of insect prey. Increasing urbanization is reducing its range. In the late 1980s and early 1990s it was introduced into Hawaii, Florida, Texas, Belize, and several Caribbean islands, where it can be considered an invasive species.

     The Tokay Gecko is known as a Tuko or Toko in the Philippines, and Tokek in Indonesian/Javanese, for its characteristic vocalizations. People have mixed feelings about it ranging from terror of the mistaken belief that its feet can tear your skin off to great love and admiration for its entertaining vocalizations; in the Philippines, most people respect it and value it because it eats dangerous pests such as scorpions and giant centipedes.

     The Tokay Gecko is the second largest Gecko species, attaining lengths of about 30–40 cm (11–15 inches) for males, and 20–30 cm (7–11 inches) for females, with weights of 150–300g (5–10 oz). They are distinctive in appearance, with a bluish or grayish body, sporting spots ranging from light yellow to bright red. The male is more brightly colored than the female. They have large eyes with a vertical slit pupil. Eyes are brown to greenish brown and can be orange or yellow.

     Males are very territorial, and will attack other male Tokays as well as other Gecko species, as well as anything else in their territory. They are solitary and only meet during the mating season. Females lay clutches of one or two hard shelled eggs which are guarded until they hatch. Tokay Geckos feed on insects and small vertebrates.

     The typical lifespan is 7–10 years, however in captivity some Tokays have been known to live over 18 years.

     Tokays are renowned for their loud vocalizations. Their mating call, a loud croak, is variously described as sounding like token, gekk-gekk or Poo-Kay where both the common and the scientific name (deriving from onomatopoeic names in Malay, Sundanese, Tagalog, Thai, or Javanese), as well as the family name Gekkonidae and the generic term gecko come from. The call is similar to the call made by Gekko smithii (Large Forest Gecko).

     The Tokay is also considered the "pitbull" of the Gecko world due to the fact that when they bite, they often won't let go for a few minutes and rarely up to an hour or more, and generally difficult to remove without causing harm to the Gecko. One way of getting a Tokay to release its hold is to submerge the animal in water or settle it down, which will encourage the lizard to let go, without causing it any harm or undue stress. A less stressful method is to simply put a drop of vinegar on the gecko's nose. This is sometimes enough to get them to let go. For this reason, it is considered to be best as an ornamental animal for experienced reptile owners.

They continued to travel and they noticed that the holes were found everywhere in Darkon...

"We're about to go to the sealed room within the mines sir... That's where some of the people went.."

"We wanted to as much as possible reduce the number of zombies following us so we went to different directions..."

Along the way, Alexander saw corpses of both the zombies and the humans...

The gate was already opened when he got there...
He was relieved when he saw that there were still many who survived...

But was again saddened hearing all their cries...

The sky became even darker...
And out of the dark heavens, rained meteors...

"Fool, you're gonna destroy Saint Morning!"

Meteors came crashing down...
It landed on random areas...

Visibility became poor...
Anything could be barely seen...

"Finally, it's over..."
~Alexander fainted...

After a few moments, the place started showing itself...
It was a mess!

Still, there stood the Clockworks...
and on it... was Eurynome...

Eurynome: "THAT WAS IT?!"

"Hey..."

"NOT EVEN A DENT ON MY CLOCKWORKS!"

~Clockworks aimed his laser cannon unto Alexander but...

*picks a stone and throws it towards Eurynome*

"I SAID HEY!"

~Clockworks changes aim and targets the guy who threw the stone at Eurynome...
