They continued to travel and they noticed that the holes were found everywhere in Darkon...

"I heard an Elite Brigade member was attacked by a zombie within the Darkon mines..."
"Must've woken up earlier than the others..." :ridicule:

"Don't worry... He'll be fine... Ritzy's taking care of his arm..."

Alexander recovered consciousness the next day...

Alexander stands up to see the whole place...

There, he saw the lifeless Clockworks...
The body of Eurynome wasn't there though...

"Did I really do all of this?

"Hm... Looks like I killed the two good for nothing sanguinarians in the process as well..."

Alexander just remembered something...

"I hope the others are doing okay..."
~Alexander goes to Flaris...

The whole place was a mess as well...
"Looks like Eurynome was able to summon zombies here as well..."

Alexander continued walking north and saw a large group of people...
One of them saw Alexander...

"We're about to go to the sealed room within the mines sir... That's where some of the people went.."
"Yet why are you here?"
"We wanted to as much as possible reduce the number of zombies following us so we went to different directions..."

Along the way, Alexander saw corpses of both the zombies and the humans...
(zombies are already corpses though) :ridicule:

The gate was already opened when he got there...
He was relieved when he saw that there were still many who survived...

But was again saddened hearing all their cries...

Penelope: ACE! WHERE'S ACE?! :(
~Penelope was like going crazy trying to find Ace... or at least his body... If ever dead :sweat:

The sky became even darker...
And out of the dark heavens, rained meteors...

"Fool, you're gonna destroy Saint Morning!"

Meteors came crashing down...
It landed on random areas...

Visibility became poor...
Anything could be barely seen...

"Finally, it's over..."
~Alexander fainted...

After a few moments, the place started showing itself...
It was a mess!

Still, there stood the Clockworks...
and on it... was Eurynome...

The whole place became like an inferno...

The three used their Blinkwings to get to Saint Morning...

It may appear to us that there are only two secondary jobs per class.
Even before, that was the case... except for the mages...

Before...
There were "Summoners"

But of course, not all can be summoners...
Only few have the power to become one...

Even though summoners were known to be gentle, everyone feared the power of the summoners...
and along with fear... was jealousy...

Being above everyone, summoners were still humble...
but because of insecurity and jealousy, a certain rumor was spread out...
"The summoners are gonna rule all of Roika"
Because a lot felt the same about the summoners,
it didn't take long for the false information to spread all over Roika...
and also because of what they felt towards the summoners,
each and everyone... agreed to kill each and every summoner...

The summoners didn't want to fight at first...
Until one night... some summoners were assassinated and found dead the next morning...
and thus, the great war started...
It was the summoners against Roika...

But for some reason, the summoners were holding back...
Soon, the number of the summoners were greatly diminished...

for days, summoners tried to fight...
as much as possible they try to hide and just run away...
But still, they kept on being found...

and soon there was only one summoner remaining...
surrounded, he remained calm...
for some reason, everyone ceased to attack and just stared at him...

"Each and every one of you are fools!"
"I had enough of holding back!"
"Watch, as I sacrifice myself to create the perfect summon!"

Everyone was killed...
not a single survivor...
and that was said to happen somewhere in Darkon 2...

No one knows what happened to clockworks after that...

Many children lost their parents...
Right after that incident a guild was established...
The "Elite Brigade"...
their purpose is to remedy situations like that...
Only the worth it are accepted to join the guild...

The Elite Brigade became kind of like a reminder of the past...
of "Clockworks"

Dragon Rider - Chapter 6

"Dragon Rider"

Chapter 6

     Because of looking for Ruby's body as well, I got rammed by the other dragon. It still charged unto me as I was falling. While descending to the ground, I was able to shoot three more poisoned arrows to its head. I got submerged into the water before it could devour me. Trying to reach me, the other dragon got its tail pulled by Draco. After pulling it a few meters away and releasing it, Draco sent a fireball to it and managed to hit it. The other dragon then fell down to the water. Almost instantly, the other dragon got out of the water and charged unto us. It rammed Draco by his belly and continued pushing him 'til we got back in Eienble cave. Weakened, Draco got his tail pulled by the other dragon this time. It pulled him 'til we were outside the cave. Upon releasing Draco, I fell from Draco's back. Luckily, we weren't that high anymore so I didn't suffer much injury. The other dragon then sent a fireball unto me as I was on the ground, helpless. Before it could hit me, Draco managed to get into the fireball's way receiving it. He fell seemingly lifeless on the ground. I ran up to Draco and checked if he was alright. (Obviously,) He wasn't... But he was still alive. When I looked back, I saw the other dragon standing tall behind me. Shocked, I stepped back, tripped and fell on the ground. I covered my face and closed my eyes as it lunged its wide-opened mouth filled with razor-sharp teeth unto me (Mommy! Y_Y). Wondering why I was still alive, I opened my eyes to see the head of the horrific dragon just below my feet. It was dead. Maybe it was the poison. Maybe it reached its limit. Whatever the reason may be, I was just glad and thankful I was still alive. Moments later, rescue came. I fell unconscious when I was about to ride on the board one of them gave me. When I woke up, I was at home. Everyone was there...


Everyone...


     Including Ruby. The others managed to spot and rescue her too. From then on, Draco, Ruby and I became heroes (Oh yeah!). The three of us would still fly for fun together. But this time, I don't ride on boards anymore.

I ride on Draco.

     Try to look up once in awhile. Some of you guys might get to see us flying around Madrigal.

And like other people, you might also get to say... "Hey, look! It's the Dragon Rider."

Dragon Rider - Chapter 5

"Dragon Rider"

Chapter 5

     Refusing to let Draco have all the fun, I still went on on attacking the other dragon. I was able to hit the man's left arm (after tons of trial). Injured, he ordererd his dragon to retreat. I thought it was over... but then Draco had to follow the other dragon (argh!). I couldn't just let him go on his own so I followed him. They battled again by the nyang habitat. I helped Draco by sending arrows to the other dragon. Irritated, it breathed fire unto me. My board got caught by the dragon's breath of fire. I came crashing down ( I was like... goodbye cruel world T_T). Luckily, I fell into the fountain of dead person (how ironic). As I emerged from the water, I saw Draco falling down from the sky. He then got hit by a fireball sent by the other dragon. The other dragon then landed on the ground. It was about to finish off Draco when Ruby suddenly appeared out of nowhere and was able to shoot an arrow and hit the back of the man riding the dragon. Instead of finishing off Draco, the dragon charged towards Ruby. Luckily, Ruby was able to jump off her board in time before the dragon could ram her. She was able to get on the dragon's back when it passed beneath her. The man riding the dragon was already dead when she got on it. Because no further orders were given to the dragon, it flew away... with Ruby. The dragon probably didn't know that the man riding it was already dead and it didn't probably also notice that Ruby was riding him.

     My board was already useless. I couldn't fly without it. I couldn't let Draco go on his own. What about Ruby? I couldn't just let the dragon get away with her. Thus, I climbed on draco's back...



and fell on my first attempt.

     I then climbed again. This time, I succeeded. I was on Draco's back. Its babe savin' time! Draco then started flapping his wings (Oh yeah!). "Let's go Draco! Nothin's gonna stop us from rescuing Ru... WAAAAAH!" Woosh! It felt like my soul got left behind. We were off. Draco was fast. He then just followed the other dragon's scent so we had no trouble knowing where it went. I couldn't believe I was riding Draco. I couldn't believe I could ride on Draco. It just felt so cool. It was a lot easier than how I thought it was gonna be like. I could even shoot arrows while riding on him. Yeah, I practiced shooting arrows while Draco and I were searching for the other dragon. We were going back south. I thought the other dragon went back to flaris and would bring chaos again but then Draco only headed towards the plain of bubble. We were going to Darkon. We saw the dragon immediately upon getting to KhipRa. It was moving on a steady speed so we were able to catch up on it. Ruby (and the dead man) was still on its back. Draco was able to be by the other dragon's side. I was able to help Ruby get unto Draco while the two dragons were flying side by side. When she got on to Draco, I then shot the other dragon by its neck. I couldn't just let it get away. I had to kill it before it could kill more people. As expected, it got angry (really angry). We were again battling with the same dragon (the dead body fell from the other dragon's back... poor dead guy). Ruby and I kept on shooting arrows at it while Draco tries to evade the other dragon's attack and attack it as well. We got into the Eienble Cave. The two dragons kept on spitting fireballs at each other. Ruby and I almost got hit several times. The other dragon was able to ram Draco when we got to the long bridge before the cave. Because of the collision, Ruby got ejected from Draco's back. Upon trying to get her while she was falling, Draco got hit by the other dragon's fireball. We were unable to save Ruby.

     I got enraged. I didn't care if I would die anymore. The fight continued. The two kept on ramming and sending fireballs at each other. The place got the two limited so it was easy for me to keep on hitting the other dragon. I was able to hit its head several times using poisoned arrows. It was usually useless against it but I didn't know if it would have any effect to the dragon if I manage to hit it with it by the head. Knowing who would win was hard to tell. While battling with the other dragon, I tried to look for Ruby's body as well. All I could see was water though. The rain made the water level much higher. I hope she's still alive.

Chapter 4

     There was no time to rest. Ruby and I immediately went to Saint Morning. We were both surprised by what we saw when we got there. With the help of the rain and darkness, Saint Morning became like a battlefield. Only a few houses remained standing. The whole place was really burned down to the ground. It was then when I knew why the people of Saint Morning hated Draco all of a sudden. I knew Draco didn't have anything to do with whatever happened to Saint Morning though. If he ever happens to be the one who did it, he'd fight back and turn all of the people attacking him into barbecues. But he didn't. Ruby and I hid behind a burnt house. From there, we could see Draco being beaten up mercilessly. He looked like he was gonna die already. The rain kept on washing away Draco's blood creating what seemed like a crimson river beneath him. We couldn't do anything. It was soul-shattering just watching him being battered. I couldn't take it anymore so I decided to go there and... I don't know. I couldn't just watch him being battered. Come what may.

     When I was about to make a step, a group of men suddenly showed up from nowhere. They were rushing towards the crowd shouting, "HELP!" They told the people that at that very moment, Flaris was being attacked by a dragon. Everyone got surprised (including Ruby and I). Knowing I was no longer public enemy number two, I pranced my way up to them like a (retarded) b*st*rd. They couldn't look at me (Bwahaha!). It was like "pay back time." I wanted so much to shoot arrows into their brains. Silenced, the acting leader walked up to me and said, "Let's talk about this later. For now, we have to go to Flaris immediately." I just nodded. Everyone then got on their boards and rushed their way to Flaris. Some of the ringmasters stayed behind and tried to heal Draco. I got healed by some of them too. I recovered immediately. Draco got us worried though. He looked like he wasn't getting any better.

     The ringmasters assured us Draco was gonna be okay though. Ruby and I then went to Flaris. Luckily, it was raining. The dragon's fire didn't do much damage. Flaris was still like Flaris. We wasted no time and immediately helped in getting rid of the dragon. As I got closer to it, I noticed someone was riding the dragon. There was a man on the dragon's back. Knowing he was controlling the dragon, I kept on shooting well-aimed arrows at him. The dragon was just too fast though. I couldn't hit it or the man riding it. The battle went on for hours. Some parts of Flaris got demolished because of the fight with the dragon. People would go crashing down like hail (not hell... lol). We were losing the battle. With just an arrow left, I tried to aim for the man riding the dragon but what I shot was the dragon's left leg instead. It got furious and looked at me with its horrifying eyes. Surprised, I got stunned and wasn't able to do anything as it was charging unto me. When it was just about eight meters away from me, I got lucky. Draco came just in time and rammed the dragon which was about to make me its next meal (man, was I happy to see Draco). Draco then breathed fire unto the other dragon and was able to hit it. Unfortunately, it didn't do much because of the rain. For some reason, we were suddenly out of the fight. It became a one-on-one battle between Draco and the other dragon. I took advantage of the opportunity and was able to get an arrow box from one of the fallen rangers.

     Obviously, everyone knew Draco. He's like a celebrity. We had to move him to Magmient though because the poor overgrown lizard became too big to be still in our neighborhood. We would visit him everyday. He just loves to fly with me and Ruby. We can't catch up with Draco though. He'd just slow down if he feels he's getting too fast for us. Often times, we would go flying in Aniceknight because the view there's awesome. One time, Ruby and I got home when it was dark already. This time, we didn't let Draco escort us home. Usually, he would. Just be looking at Draco, it was obvious that he was really tired so we let him just rest instead. I woke up the next day because of the ruckus outside. There was an awful lot of people outside the house, furious about something. When I got out, a man from the mob immediately grabbed me and said, " Saint Morning was burned down to the ground last night because of the dragon you raised!" I was surprised. They were all so nosiy I couldn't think clearly. Then I heard someone shouted, "SOME OF US ALREADY WENT TO MAGMIENT TO KILL YOUR DRAGON!" I then immediately grabbed my board and went to Magmient. When I got there, Draco was already being attacked. They were shooting arrows at him. All poor Draco could do was fly as fast as he could. Soon, the people lost sight of him. I knew where he would go though, the garden of Rhisis. As expected, he was there. Some of the arrows got to him. Removing the arrows one after the others wasn't a good experience. He got badly wounded. He couldn't even fly or just stand right anymore. He must've just forced himself to reach the garden of Rhisis.

     Just after a few hours, Ruby came... along with her were some of the people from the house. As she walked up to me, drops of rain came falling from the sky. Soon enough, it was raining heavily. "Ruby, you let them know?" She looked so fragile. Though the rain did a good job of washing away her tears, I knew she was crying that time."I'm sorry, Alexis... I had no choice. They were gonna hurt your parents." I couldn't say a word after that. I just walked away from her and just tried to protect Draco by fending off the angry mob. I couldn't use my bow though. I just can't kill any of them. My only weapon then was my body (crap!). The rain made it even harder to move. Outnumbered, I got beaten up so hard I thought I was gonna die. I looked lifeless lying on the ground. My face was half-submerged in mud. Hell--I was covered in mud! I couldn't move anymore. The people left immediately after taking Draco with them. They tied him in ropes, placed him in a net, then transported him to Saint Morning. It was obvious to me that they were gonna kill him there. Ruby stayed behind. She rushed to me and helped me stood up. I was still too weak though. I was too heavy for Ruby alone so she just let me sit down instead. She then handed me a capsule. After taking it in, I fell lifeless on the ground. I died. "Alexis, Alexis... Alexis!" no response. "Alexis, don't you dare die on me!" She kept on hitting my chest. "Alexis, don't leave me alone!" She held me close, crying like she suddenly lost on of her arms.

laughed so hard! "Ruby, I was just..." She banged my head to the mud before I could say another word. "YOU JERK!" She then hugged me (so tight). "Ouch! Ruby, that hurts."

Chapter 2

     Through time, I got stronger... Oh, and Ruby too. I learned this skill called "Dark Illusion" which I got addicted to. It became my favorite skill. It reminded me of how I was like when I just got my first bow. Now, its a combination. I would shoot at monsters FAR stronger than I am then would do the dark illusion when they get close (suicidal... but pretty cool). I stopped doing it though because of Ruby (Again!). A monster tried to attack her instead of me when I did the dark illusion. Luckily, she can do the dark illusion as well (can't believe she almost died twice because of me). Oh, and there's this skill called "Fast Walker" I forgot to mention. It helped me much running away from Ruby that day who was furious shouting, "YOU IGNORANT B*****D! ARE YOU TRYING TO GET ME KILLED?!" Man, those were the days. =)

     After a few months, Ruby's still alive the egg hatched. We were all glad it still did. I finally got to see a dragon. It looked tough though it was still little. We named it "Draco" ('coz we were too lazy to think of other names). Draco was a lot of trouble though he was still a baby. He would rip off Ruby's clothes at times (and I was like ~> :O). Since then, Ruby stopped wearing just the acrobat's attire (Y_Y). Yeah, Draco was a lot of trouble even before he could breathe fire. Sometimes, he'd ran off from our house then would return with the neighbor's food in his mouth. It was a good thing our neighbor was kind and patient enought with Draco. Luckily, after lots of spanking Draco stopped stealing foods. What pissed me off the most when he was still little was that we'd be all day getting him back in the house at times (made me wanna chop off his legs). When Draco got a bit bigger, Ruby and I would let him come with us as we train. A big mistake. Draco's a big distraction! Often times, we'd have to go save him from monsters he would carelessly bite (idiot!).

     Years passed, Ruby and I finally became rangers (Woohoo!). At that time, Draco was already bigger than our house. He now comes with us when hunting Luias for him to feed. Dad used to be the one doing it. Draco grew up so fast. It seemed like only yesterday when he accidentally set our neighbor's house on fire. Now, he's an expert in fire breathing. When Ruby and I get too surrounded with monsters, Draco would turn some of them into barbecues. That's what he does with his Luias. He likes them well done. =)

     The three of us still go to the garden of rhisis at times. Draco would just listen to Ruby and I as we talk. Draco's special, he somewhat understands the language of us humans. I told him that if ever he gets in trouble, just go to the garden of rhisis. Draco's not much of a trouble anymore (phew). I just wish Ruby and I had a board that could go as fast as Draco so we don't get left behind all the time. Draco may be just a dragon but he's never been just a pet, he's family. =)

Chapter 1

     Back when I was still a kid, I was all about dragons. It was because of dad. He would tell me fascinating stories about dragons all the time. At times, after telling me a story, he would then let me ride on his back. We would pretend that he was a dragon and that I was a brave warrior. I would cry though whenever I would fall accidentally because of moving too much (some brave warrior). I get to laugh whenever I get to remember those moments. "Let's go dragon! Nothin's gonna stop us from rescuing the princess!" then I'd fall, then would cry. Poor brave warrior. Anyway, sometimes I would play with my friends. They're not that interested in dragons though. They were all about boards, brooms and flying. There was this one girl though, Ruby. Little did I know she loved dragons too. One day, my friends introduced her to me. They told me she was in to dragons too. To cut it short, we became good friends. We became quite close. At times, she'd go to our house and together we would listen to dad as he tells us stories about dragons. Sometimes, we would even pretend that we were characters from one of dad's dragon stories. That I was a prince and she was a princess (because she refuses to be the dragon). That she was being held captive by an evil dragon and I was to save her with a dragon of my own.

I'm not good at being serious. Sorry.
The story might get a bit "cranky" from here on.
But I guess it'll be funny no matter what I do 'coz I'm a crazy b*st*rd. =)

     After a lot of years, Ruby and I both became acrobats. I couldn't believe I was holding my very own bow. It felt awesome. It felt so awesome I couldn't stop shooting arrows randomly. Ruby would just laugh at me and would call me "ignorant" whenever I go crazy with my bow. After almost killing Ruby accidentally by shooting an arrow over her head pretending there was an apple, I stopped my bad habit of "shooting arrows like I just don't care." It was a good thing she was busy counting all of her coins and didn't noticed the arrow passed over her head or else she'd get furious andwould really shoot one in between my eyes. She did wonder why I stopped shooting arrows randomly though. I would just say, "I'm afraid I might accidentally kill someone." =)

     I was still interested in dragons when I learned how to fly. I kept on telling Ruby how much I wanted to see one. She said I might pee on my pants when one suddenly shows up in front of me (whatever). Back then, the garden of rhisis was a special place for me and Ruby. Whenever I or she would have a problem, we would go to the garden and would talk about it there. We chose the garden because there are no people there most of the time. If one of us goes missing, we knew were to look, the garden of rhisis. Although the garden didn't have much of a view to offer, it didn't matter to us. All we needed was each other. Soon, we became "us". That wouldn't be so surprising anymore. We were always together since we were kids. Falling in love with each other was inevitable.

     Anyway, dad brought home what seemed to be an egg one day. It was really big. Dad said it was a dragon's egg. I couldn't believe it was one at first but then reality kicked in and made me believe it really was one. Dad said they found it under a really big dragon that has just been killed in Volcane. Knowing that the egg has been left alone, he brought it along with him. I then showed the egg to Ruby. She kept on laughing at me 'coz I kept on rubbing the egg with the palm of my hands like it was my first time ever touching anything. We all hoped that it would still hatch. We kept it warm by placing it on top of one of our beds and covered it with bedsheets and all sorts of clothes. We all knew that the dragon that may come out of the egg may turn into a monster someday though.
